Partner programme for GDPR cloud storage: margin from the first licence, no joining fee

If you are a system house, IT service provider or managed service provider reselling cloud storage, you know the hurdles: partner tiers you have to climb, certifications at your own expense, minimum volumes — and you only learn the terms once you have qualified. For smaller partners the sums often do not work before they have even started.

Our partner programme begins differently. There is no joining fee, no minimum volume and no certification cost. The volume discount applies from the very first licence and grows with your volume — not from some tier you have to reach over a year first. You get the price list and the margin table before the contract, not after. The margin runs to up to 50% on every licence, and you set your own end-customer price.

Three routes, depending on how much you want to keep in your own hands. With reselling you buy Business cloud licences at the partner price and invoice your customer yourself — pricing, contract and billing stay with you. With white label the web portal, the apps and the system e-mails carry your logo, your colours and your domain; PowerFolder runs behind it, either in our cloud or in your own data centre. If you would rather not handle billing or first-level support, you refer the customer to us and receive a recurring commission for as long as the contract runs.

The market is writing your sales pitch. Your customers are asking for GDPR-compliant cloud storage, for servers in Germany, and for a contracting party outside the reach of the US CLOUD Act. That is exactly what you are selling: data centres exclusively in Germany, ISO 27001 certified, with the Art. 28 GDPR processing agreement as part of the contract. Plus sync and share, share links with passwords and expiry dates, Office editing in the browser, the Outlook add-in, and clients for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android.

Cloud storage is not a one-off sale. It is a contract that runs every month, and you earn from it for as long as the customer stays with you. Technical second-level support comes straight from the manufacturer in Monheim am Rhein, in German, and PowerFolder has been in production at more than 1,500 organisations since 2007. Not a product you have to explain to your customers.

Tell us briefly who your customers are and which model interests you — we will come back within two working days with terms, price list and demo access. Become a partner · See the programme in detail
